Lindsay Robson

started her life and style blog Nickel City Pretty in February 2013 to showcase her love of Buffalo and the people & places that have made the city what it is today. She has collaborated with many major companies, including Pepsi, Darien Lake Theme Park, Visit Buffalo Niagara, Visit Pittsburgh, Purina, LOFT, Oxford Pennant, Hyatt Regency Buffalo, PINROSE Perfume, Meduse shoes, Warby Parker, Once And For All clothing, Delighted By Dessert Hummus, Mazra Natural Snacks, and JORD Wood Watches. Two major components of Nickel City Pretty are the Nickel City Gritty series and Buffalo Public Art page. Nickel City Gritty focuses on highlighting young people in Buffalo who are doing new and groundbreaking things. She keeps the interviews fun and lighthearted so her audience can really get a feel for the subject’s personality. On her Buffalo Public Art page, Lindsay travels around the city and photographs public murals and sculptures, uploads them to her website and adds the location of the piece and the artist, so that viewers can easily find the artwork themselves. Lindsay created the Buffalo Blogging Network website, Instagram and Twitter accounts in July 2016 as a way to connect the members of the Buffalo blogging community with each other. This also has been a great way for Western New York businesses to interact with local influencers. The Buffalo Blogging Network is currently made up of over 75 bloggers/vloggers and new members are being added constantly. Lindsay currently works out of Black Box Studio, located in Buffalo’s Larkin District, which was formed in July 2017.
